I was pleasantly surprised by my food at this unpretentious hole in the wall takeout in which I did not expect such quality at such a reasonable price. I ordered spare ribs and tofu Hunan style, both were delicious.
This is a great Chinese Restaurant, one of the few that take credit/ATM cards?and gave excellent delivery. The food is always fresh and the restaurant itself is very clean.
Wok Wok is located on Mott Street, and can be easy to miss - you have to walk down a set of stairs to get into the restaurant. I come to Wok Wok at least once a week. I absolutely LOVE their food. They have a huge selection of different types of Asian food here - Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, you name it! And the best part, they offer a lunch special! My favorite thing to order from here is their Penang white curry laksa. Chicken, shrimp, egg noodles, vermicelli, roasted chili paste, and beans sprouts in a white curry soup base....so many different textures and flavors and just sooo delicious!! The owner here is super nice, friendly, and often takes the time to chat with me. The two women who work here (literally there everyday) work so hard to take/crank out all the lunch orders, it's pretty impressive to see. I work close-by and I've recommend this place to literally everyone at work. Tip: If you're ordering lunch take-out, try to call in the order ahead of time, it can get rather busy.
